The response to the upcoming Hometech Middle East 2006,from the UAE’s most innovative producers, manufacturers and distributors in home technology has been phenomenal. The show runs from Sunday 14th to Tuesday 16th May at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.
One of Hometech’s major exhibitors is GE Appliances. They have maintained a strong presence across the Middle East, Africa and India since 1930 through an undivided focus on customer service; offering innovations that today’s busy lifestyle demands. Today, appliances are more than practical tools of convenience, they enhance everyday living. By harmonizing all types of kitchens and lifestyles through seamless edges and simple graphics, GE appliances epitomize modern sophistication.
Semih Akinci, Regional Manager, GE Consumer & Industrial Appliances, said "GE C&I Appliances is very excited to be participating in Hometech 2006 this year. We see this show as an opportunity to increase our brand awareness in the region, creating opportunities to serve more customers with advanced home appliances. GE C&I
Appliances will be introducing a new built in kitchen line during the show, which will launch later during the 2nd half of 2006. Within the appliances business with continued advancement of technology, white goods and refrigerators are including more and more innovative features everyday. For example some of our fridges are monitoring how often the door opens to control the level of temperature and humidity in the fridge. In certain models, the compressor is located at the top, so that maximum space is provided. Another great feature of the GE refrigeration range is Climate Keeper 2, which means the fridge and freezer compartments work separately, ensuring food remains completely fresh for longer periods of time. As the kitchen becomes increasingly the focus of most homes, we do our utmost to serve Middle East families with larger and better white goods. When it comes to planning a new kitchen or refurbishing your old one, there is no question that style matters. But good kitchen design doesn't stop with style - it must also keep up with the fast pace of modern life.”
Another exciting first time exhibitor at the upcoming show is LG Electronics Inc, one of the world’s major forces within technology. They have subsidiaries in over 77 countries across the globe, are the largest producers in CDMA handsets, optical storage devices, air conditioners and the 2nd largest of Plasma TV and PDP models. At Hometech Middle East 2006, they will be exhibiting their latest most innovative designs and products.
Al Bishara International Co, also first time exhibitors at the show, are the exclusive distributors for the GCC of quality brands KLIPSCH and OEHLBACH. KLIPSCH have designed the iFi System™, which makes the Apple® iPod® experience sound better than ever. AL Bishara will be showcasing the iFi System™ at this years show.
