Five people including three children and a woman, were killed and eight others, mainly kids, were wounded when a missile hit a park in Al-Hemeida neighborhood, Benghazi city, northeast Libya, on Friday.
The residential areas of the city have been site of frequent deadly clashes between the Libyan army and Islamist militant groups in the recent months, spokesman of the ministry of interior Lt. Tareq Al-Kharraz told KUNA tonight.
The regular troops laid siege on the city in a bid to regain control of it after the Islamist militant groups ISIL, Ansar Al-Sharia and the Shura Council of Benghazi Revolutionaries captured the city in last August.
