Modhesh Fun City, the largest edutainment venue in the region, is celebrating the second birthday of Her Highness Shaikha Fatma bint Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the grand daughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, in what will be the biggest children’s party this summer.
The city of endless fun is inviting all children from across the UAE to a whole day of festivities that will be held on Saturday, June 21, at Modhesh Fun City from 4pm to 10pm.
Modhesh, the bubbly smiling mascot, and all his cartoon character friends will welcome HH Shaikha Fatma to the party that will kick off with a host of exciting events. A special birthday show will be organized followed by a ceremony where HH along with Modhesh and other children will cut a huge cake to mark the occasion.
The festive atmosphere at the venue will be accentuated through carnivals and cartoon character parades and an exclusive circus show for guests at the main stage. A traditional stage show at the Central Hall will be held with a special song prepared for HH and a traditional band will also be playing at the Heritage Zone.
All children at Modhesh Fun City on June 21 will receive special gifts on behalf of HH in the form of goodie-bags. Children can also look forward to the arts and crafts zone, face painting opportunities at the venue entrance, balloon drop and showers of confetti, and a cup cake distribution in the East Hall of Modhesh Fun City.
Modhesh Fun City is spread across more than 37,000 square metres and features some of the best entertainment during DSS. For 2008, numerous new zones have been added to the venue. These include the Magic Planet Zone, the Toy Store Zone, a Spiderman Zone, a completely revamped Inflatable Zone, and to top it all an ice skating rink, featuring for the first time in a DSS edition.
