Two Moroccan planes, loaded with humanitarian relief to the Palestinian people, landed in the Airport of Amman on Tuesday.
The aid was conveyed to the Hachemite Charity Association, where Jordan’s King Abdullah II was paying an unexpected visit.
The Jordanian King welcomed the Moroccan staff and asked Morocco's ambassador to Jordan, Mehdi Alaoui, to convey his greetings to King Mohammed VI, Maghreb Arabe Presse reported.
Morocco sent, according to the order of King Mohammed VI, chairman of the Al-Quds (Jerusalem) Committee, the emergency humanitarian assistance to the victims in villages and cities throughout the West Bank.
The relief supplies consists of significant quantities of medicines.
Meanwhile, the Moroccan ambassador to Jordan said the Jordanian King praised the efforts exerted by King Mohammed VI to support the Palestinian people and voiced consideration for the Royal initiative.
The Moroccan assistance will be conveyed as soon as possible to the Palestinian territories, King Abdallah II stated. (Albawaba.com)
