ALBAWABA - Bloody night in New York City during the US's 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
New York Post reported that eight people, including four children, were shot while they were watching a 4th of July fireworks show in Brooklyn on Saturday night.
According to the police, the victims include a 33-year-old man and a 21-year-old female shot in the chest; a 25-year-old female, a 14-year-old male, a 12-year-old male, and a 7-year-old male shot in the legs or thighs; a 37-year-old male shot in the shoulder; and a 6-year-old male injured in the stomach.

Seven of the victims are in stable condition, while the 21-year-old female is in critical condition. Four stabbings were also reported in New York, and at least 63 people were arrested.
NYPD rushed to the scene as the shooting was reported at around 10:35 p.m. local time at 2930 W. 30th St. near Surf Ave in Coney Island.
In addition to the shooting and stabbing attacks, a fire erupted on New York City's Brooklyn Bridge during a fireworks display on U.S. Independence Day, known as the 4th of July.
