Syrian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Farouk al Sharaa received in Damascus Tuesday the new German ambassador to Damascus, Aebrhard Shobeous and accepted his credentials.
Eberhard handed al Sharaa a letter from the German Foreign Minister, Joschka Fischer, SANA reported. In the course of the meeting, talks centered on bilateral ties between the two countries and means of strengthening them in all fields. (Albawaba.com)
