ALBAWABA- Lebanese sources have reported that Israeli occupation forces carried out an airstrike in the vicinity of the northeastern city of Baalbek, located in southern Lebanon.

This is the second raid today, after an Israeli airstrike targeted the vicinity of the town of Naqoura, situated in southern Lebanon.

Early today, Hezbollah announced that an Israeli drone was intercepted and forced to retreat from Lebanese airspace after the confrontation in the border areas. 

 Hezbollah fighters also claimed to have targeted Israeli soldiers' artillery positions in Khirbet Ma'ar, resulting in direct hits on soldiers deployed in the vicinity.
