One year after his ”Satire on Everything that Moves”, Morocco's Mohamed Laroussi is publishing a new book titled “May no one Joke”. The new book is based on a collection of satirical chronics that Laroussi has published in the national press. His texts are inspired both by his own personal experiences and by the general political, economic and even cultural developments the world is witnessing.
Although a number of the texts he published in his new book were censured by some Moroccan newspapers, Larussi explained to Aujourd’hui that he enjoys more freedom than ever in his satirical writing on politics and that censorship was mainly focused on cases where he was writing on the publicists themselves.
