One killed in missile debris in Abu Dhabi

ALBAWABA - At least one person was killed by falling shrapnel after the interception of a missile in Abu Dhabi, the media office announced Tuesday.

According to Abu Dhabi Media Office, a Pakistani national was killed by a missile debris in the Emirati capital as escalation in the region continues.

It wrote on X, "Abu Dhabi authorities have responded to an incident involving falling debris in the Baniyas area, following the interception of a ballistic missile by air defence systems. The incident resulted in the death of a Pakistani national.

The public is advised to obtain information only from official sources and to avoid spreading rumours or unverified information."

The incident took place in the Bani Yas area, "following the interception of a ballistic missile by air defences", the statement also read.
