ALBAWABA - At least 10 people were killed in a second explosion in Pakistan on Wednesday, AFP reported citing a Pakistani official.
The second blast was reported in southwestern Pakistan and occurred at a place close to the offices of a political party.
According to Jan Achakzai, provincial information minister of Balochistan: "The incident took place close to the election office of the local JUI-F candidate" in Killa Saifullah.
Hours ago, an explosion was reported also near the headquarters of a political party, leading to the death of at least 12 people.
A second explosion took place in Qillah Saif Ullah district, about 150km (93 miles) away.
Several others were also injured in the two blasts.
The explosions came as Pakistan is ready to hold parliamentary elections on Feb. 8, 2024, where 128 million Pakistanis will get to elect their country’s next government, and also the legislatures of the nation’s four provinces.
