The tradition continues at Starbucks this holiday season with the return of festive favourites. Starbucks most anticipated seasonal coffee, Starbucks Christmas Blend and the rich Toffee Nut Latte return to brighten the holiday season, in selected stores across the Middle East, for a limited period.
First blended 24 years ago, Starbucks coffee buyers were challenged to create a blend that was ideally suited for and would stand up to the rich flavours of the Holiday season. The result was a special combination of Latin American, Asia-Pacific, and rare, aged Indonesian beans roasted and blended to perfection by Starbucks coffee experts. Bold with a mellow spicy smoothness, Starbucks Christmas Blend is a perfect complement to seasonal foods or alone as a delicious brewed coffee enjoyed morning or night that embodies the warmth and joy of the holiday season.
“The unique and subtle taste of Starbucks Christmas Blend comes from rare, aged Indonesian beans (aged for three to five years) that yield the blend’s hallmark flavour and deep spicy notes that go so well with the spicy, nuttiness of the holiday foods and treats,” says Antoun Abou Jaoude, Marketing Manager of Starbucks Middle East.
“Fans of Starbucks Christmas Blend are encouraged to pair the coffee with Starbucks seasonal treats introducing Swiss Roll, a delicious medley of chocolate mousse and strawberry jam snuggled at the heart of the chocolate sponge cake and coated with rich chocolate glaze, and a delightful juicy Meat Pie made with beef and carrots with hints of onion and garlic embedded in a quiche shell,” added Abou Jaoude.
