Sharing is caring? 75.5% of Pay TV viewers in Egypt use black market connections for the service.
A new Arab Advisors Group survey of Egypt’s urban households reveals massive use of the illegal –yet quite entrepreneurial- practice of neighborhood operations reselling Pay TV signals to households. The low cost of such a practice, has resulted in a quite high use of Pay TV services in the urban areas in Egypt with 43.2% of households having Pay TV access.
A new major survey, “Egypt Media Survey 2008” was concluded and released by the Arab Advisors Group on May 20, 2008. This survey report can be purchased from the Arab Advisors Group for US$ 2,500. Subscribers to Arab Advisors Group Strategic Research Services can order the report for US$ 2,000.
