ALBAWABA - Sudanese people inside Al Fashir have been facing acute hunger and starvation after being placed under the control of the Rapid Support Forces since May 2024.
A video has shocked the internet where the RSF fighters were seen shooting to death a group of men for trying to sneak food into the besieged Al Fashir city.
In the clip, a fighter for the RSF is seen speaking to a group of five men that it is forbidden to take food into Al Fashir, then a gunshot is heard, and the Sudanese men are seen falling to the ground.
After a few seconds, a voice is heard saying, "This person is still alive", and another round of gunfire is heard.
Another clip also went viral after a man was spotted hanging upside down from a tree inside Al Fashir city after he tried to bring food to the city. The man was seen begging not to be killed, saying he won't do this again.
The RSF fighter was heard saying from behind the camera, "What is your last will to your family?"
"Health facilities have collapsed, and thousands of children suffering from severe acute malnutrition are now without treatment," four United Nations agencies said on Thursday.

According to reports, the siege of the city of Al Fashir in North Darfur State, Sudan, is believed to have lasted over 500 days, and people inside have no more food left to eat, as some activists said, Sudanese inside Al Fashir are eating animal food to survive.
The army and RSF have been fighting a war since April 2023 that has killed more than 20,000 people and displaced 14 million others, according to data provided by the UN and local authorities in Sudan.
