A Turkish colonel serving at the Foreign Acquisition Directorate has been arrested and put in prison within the framework of interrogations into corruption allegations, carried out by the Ground Forces Command, said Milliyet newspaper.
The colonel, who was commanding an ammunition depot of the Ground Forces Logistics Directorate, and the civilian director of the unit were arrested and put in prison. The colonel could face a prison sentence of up to 3 years.
