Fujitsu Technology Solutions announces it has been selected by Microsoft as a finalist in the “Partner of the Year Award 2009”. Fujitsu was chosen from an international field of top Microsoft partners, for delivering market-leading customer solutions built on Microsoft technology.

Awards will be presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of nearly 2,000 entrants worldwide. The OEM Hardware Solutions, Device Manufacturing Partner of the Year Award is designed to recognize independent hardware vendors or original device manufacturers that design and develop hardware peripheral and device solutions that use Microsoft technologies to create superior customer value. Selected as finalists in this category were the two following Fujitsu entries:
- Fujitsu LIFEBOOK T – a pen-based Tablet PC solution and
- Fujitsu x10sure – a high-availability solution for Microsoft Windows-based environments

The Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference Awards recognize Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions over the past year. The 2009 awards will be announced at an event being held July 13 - 16 in New Orleans, USA.
