ALBAWABA - Palestinian children have taken to the streets to respond to solidarity demonstrations from university students, particularly those in the US and Europe.
Expressing gratitude for the recent surge in solidarity protests among university students, Palestinian students in Gaza staged their own demonstration demanding an end to Israel's attacks.
At a school in the Rafah area, where Palestinians seek refuge in the southern part of Gaza, students organized a demonstration reminiscent of those seen at Western universities. They displayed banners conveying appreciation to the University of Minnesota students for their solidarity with Gaza and emphasized the detrimental impact of war education on the region.
Across the United States, university students have been actively organizing protests in various states and campuses to show support for Palestine, urging their institutions to sever ties with Israel.
Despite facing challenges and intervention from security forces, university students in the US and Europe continue to organize demonstrations in solidarity with Gaza.
Since the onset of Israel's attacks on October 7, the Gaza Strip has witnessed a devastating toll, with at least 34,454 Palestinians, including 14,685 children and 9,670 women, losing their lives, and 77,575 others sustaining injuries.
