6 week promotion invites card holders to explore easier and more convenient way to pay with Visa Electron

the leading global payment solutions provider and thirteen major Jordanian banks together launched the latest Visa Electron promotion, under the banner “Swipe, Win, Fly,”   from July 1 until August 15, 2009. With six prizes to be won over a period of six weeks, cardholders are encouraged to use their Visa Electron cards at merchant locations for all their purchases this summer, at least three times during the period of the promotion. They will be given the chance to win a trip to one of four destinations (Lebanon, Egypt, UAE, and Jordan), including a return air ticket and trip expenses covered.

This latest new promotion builds on Visa’s first global advertising campaign, entitled "More people go with Visa," produced to reflect the company's evolution to a single, global company. The new campaign enables Visa to align its worldwide marketing under a single theme that highlights the superior value Visa delivers versus cash and checks - including more security, more control and more convenience.

Commenting on this latest exciting campaign, Area Manager of Visa for the Levant and Qatar, Mr. Tony Gougassian, said, “To help benefit and reward customers in their daily life and consumption, Visa with the support of our partner banks in Jordan, provides cardholders with the best payment solutions. Visa is for people of action – our role is to facilitate their transactions, and our goal is to provide a better and a responsible way to pay”.

“We value the important role of our bank partners, playing a major role in driving awareness of the benefits of Visa Electron card usage by educating customers on the advantages of using their Visa Electron cards over cash payment. Visa Electron payments is a convenient, safe, and flexible solution, thereby meeting cardholder requirements, tracking their expenses regularly and facilitating their financial transactions,” he added.
