Xerox Emirates (XEM), the leading enterprise for business process and document management, today announced the launch of its Color Drive Campaign targeting small to large enterprises to trade-in their old copiers and printers of any brand and condition for new Xerox color multifunction systems.
The move hopes to give corporate clients the chance to experience Xerox’s leadership in document management and printing solutions, including a comprehensive range of market-leading multi-function printers (MFP) offering users competitive advantages such as color printing alongside black-and-white capabilities, for improved office productivity and cost-efficiency in office printing, among other important benefits.
Customers availing of the color upgrade promotion will receive a voucher worth up to AED 4,000 to be redeemed against their purchase of a new Xerox color multifunction machine plus free prints for up to one (1) year as well as free recycling for their old machines.
“The perception of color is clearly changing and the road ahead offers a great deal of opportunity. The opportunity for people embracing color communications is clear. The writing is on the wall, and it’s in color,” said Abeer Safa, Marketing Manager Xerox Emirates. “And today, color is more accessible, affordable and easy to use than ever before. Color is no longer a “nice to have” option. It is part of a smarter way to work and a smarter way to communicate. It is a strategic competitive advantage no enterprise should be without.”
According to Safa, the focus on color printing makes business sense. “Nothing is more effective than business-critical documents making the right first impression — and in today’s ultra-competitive business climate, first impressions mean everything. We have third party, independent research to prove that using color in business documents can have measurable results.”
A study conducted by Loyola College in the US found that adding color to basic customer communications such as account statements and invoices can improve comprehension up to 35 percent. In addition a research on direct mail responses conducted by David Broudy and Frank Romano suggested higher response rates to colored direct mailers (up to 34 percent), thus generating large orders and repeat purchases (up to 48 percent).
Color also plays a key role in improving the effectiveness of everyday office documents, including reports and proposals designed to inform and persuade. Other important findings of several industry studies say color improves retention and recall as well as aids in reducing search times for key concepts and minimising errors, helping customers fill out forms correctly the first time.
“More importantly, the migration from black and white printing to color is absolutely zero in terms of printing costs, thus changing the mind-set of printing in color as a luxury. Cost, has therefore, become less of a concern, as the price of equipment and the cost per page for color printing continues to be driven down,” added Safa.
Xerox color technology is making it easier and more affordable to add the value of color to all kinds of documents. In Xerox color devices, consumables like solid ink sticks are easy to replace, while user-friendly interfaces and familiar features found on black-and-white devices make it easy to choose color for documents.
The market’s growing acceptance of color in the office is reflected in the wide range of Xerox color printers, digital copiers and multifunction products. It sees a very “colourful” future, but one where “green” is also a dominant theme. Safa said, “It’s not just business as usual for Xerox. Environmental sustainability is an important aspect of our operations and corporate culture, which is why our products have been developed with eco-friendly features and green technologies.”
With the launch of its latest color MFP ColorCube 9200 series - the world's first high speed solid-ink multi-function printers, Xerox also provides compelling costs and environmental benefits without comprising on image quality and performance. It reduces waste by a market-leading 90%, and costs of color pages by as much as 62%.
