Yemen's ambassador to the UN, Khaled Alyemany, said UN-led talks on the crisis will begin June 14 in Geneva, the Associated Press reported Wednesday.
Scheduled talks late last month were delayed because the Yemen government and other parties asked for more time to prepare. The UN's new special envoy to Yemen is briefing the Security Council on Wednesday.
Yemen's fugitive President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and second-in-command of the Houthi rebel movement have both agreed to show up to Geneva for the peace talks.
