#HeWentToJared: Twitter Storm Questions Jared Kushner's Qualifications and Achievements In the White House

A social media storm has targeted White House senior advisor and the US President's son-in-law, questioning his qualifications and his achievements in the tenure so far.

Starting with a video that mocked Jared Kushner's tasks during his work in his father-in-law's administration, social media accounts used the hashtag #HeWentToJared that quickly became one of the top trending hashtags in the US; protesting Kushner's appointment for serious and foreign issues such as brokering peace in the Middle East between the Palestinians and the Israelis.

Commentators argued that Kushner's Mideast peace plan was fruitless as it was rejected by Palestinians, who perceived it as biased to Israel.

Additionally, users noted that Kushner's strong relationship with Middle Eastern leaders, especially in Saudi Arabia and Qatar may have helped him make personal financial gains. This is why he's exerted every effort into protecting the Saudi crown prince from any criticism following global outrage over Saudi journalist and green-card holder Jamal Khashoggi; who was killed and dismembered in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in the fall of 2018.

Users also referred to several sources which claimed that Kushner and his wife Ivanka Trump have made millions in dollars in profit, while being in the White House. 

Coming under fire were also Kushner's unsuccessful efforts as head of a volunteer group of officials to handle providing personal protective equipment for medical workers in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak.
