ALBAWABA - A claim that Brigitte Macron, wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, a transgender is once again under the spotlight causing fuzz and pushing Macron to take steps to protect his wife Brigitte.

Despite that the controversy surrounding Brigitte Macron's birth sex has been going for years, Candace Owens, an American right-wing political commentator, reignited the debate after an X post claiming that Emmanuel Macron sent her a legal letter.

Candace Owens, posted on Jan. 10 on her X account: "In mid-November, I made contact with a journalist claiming to have a trove of evidence proving Brigitte Macron was born a man. In December I flew to Europe to examine the evidence and to interview the journalist for over two hours."

She added: "Just 10 days after our initial correspondence, SITTING President Emmanuel Macron and his ‘wife’ Brigitte Macron sent me a legal threat which they demanded we not publicize. Today I will of course be publicizing that letter. It is our belief that this legal threat was sent to intimidate us—ultimately to stop us from publishing the explosive piece which was due to premiere on January 30th. "

Owens further noted that she rejects to be silenced, "We will not be intimidated," she maintained and tagged several journalists and celebrities, including Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones, and Andrew Tate calling them to support her in expressing her opinion.

Not only the X post, but the right-wing political commentator also referred to Brigitte as "mister" in a YouTube video and slammed the French President's legal action.

Last year during an International Women’s Day event in Paris, French President Macron responded for the first time to the allegations claiming his wife was born as a "male," he said: "The worst thing is the false information and fabricated scenarios."

Nonetheless, Brigitte Macron's daughter Tiphaine Auzaine also once said: "I have concerns about the level of society when I hear what is circulating on social networks about my mother being a man."
