ALBAWABA - A horrible crime has shaken the community in Aleppo after gunmen entered a jewellery shop in the Syrian city and opened fire, killing two workers, local media confirmed.
The brutal murder in Aleppo caused widespread anger among Syrians, after two gunmen stormed a shop and killed two brothers in front of passersby and stole gold, then fled the scene.
The governor of Aleppo, Azzam al-Gharib, confirmed that he is personally following up on the ongoing investigations in cooperation with the competent security authorities, stressing the need to "arrest all those involved and hold them accountable according to the law."
The attack resulted in the deaths of two brothers, Na'su Ahmad Na'san and Yamin Ahmad Na'san. Local media also reported that several civilians who were in the street at the time of the attack were injured.
Activists on social media called for the execution of the perpetrators "to serve as a deterrent to others," while one criticized the proliferation of uncontrolled weapons. Others expressed their outrage at the brothers being killed at their workplace.
