ALBAWABA - US influencer and journalist Jackson Hinkle recently sparked controversy after videos of him flooded social media, chanting "down with USA and Zionists" during his stay in Iran to attend the funeral of the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Hinkle took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, "DOWN WITH ZIONISTS! Thank you to my brother Hossein Taheri for allowing me to join you in Enqelab Square."
The demonstration took place at Tehran's Enqelab Square as videos captured thousands of attendees chanting Hinkle's controversial remarks. Many internet users deemed Hinkle a "traitor."

A social media user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "This is @jacksonhinkle, American “social media influencer” leads “death to America” chants with several thousand Iranian regime supporters during a rally in Tehran. He’s a Jane Fonda-wannabe. Traitor."
American far-right political commentator, live streamer, and influencer Nick Fuentes also took to Rumble to state that Hinkle should be "drone struck by Trump" for saying "down with USA" in Iran.
Fuentes added, "This guy grows up a privileged white kid in California; he starts larping as some kind of Communist revolutionary, and now he's in Iran saying 'Destroy America.'"
The commentator then solidified his views on Zionists, stating that he's "not ok" with them either, because they're on the "other side of the same coin."
