ALBAWABA - In an interview with the American talk show The View, comedian Hasan Minhaj said that Kamala Harris was already president in 2021 for an hour and 25 minutes.
The View host Sunny Hostin asked Minhaj "What do you think of Vice President Harris as our potential net president?" to which Minhaj replied that she's already been president.
His answer raised so many questions across the audience and Hostin's co-hosts that they asked Minhaj to elaborate on his "bizarre" answer. Minhaj said that on November 19th, 2021, Harris filled in as acting president as President Joe Biden underwent a colonoscopy surgery.
Referring to an article by Reuters titled "Harris was briefly first woman to be acting U.S. president as Biden underwent colonoscopy", Minhaj told The View panel that while for 85 minutes, Harris was in the Oval Office filling in as first female acting president.
"For 85 minutes, while Uncle Joe was getting butt surgery, Kamala Auntie was in the oval office with her fingers all over the nuclear codes, and nobody in the media talked about this," Minhaj mocked Harris for the short period during which she was actually a president.
This interview comes as the US, and frankly, the world, braces for what might lead to the country being led by the first female president in history as former President and current Republican candidate, Donald Trump, eyes a second term.
Meanwhile, current vice president and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris ramped up her campaign after President Biden withdrew from the race, clearing the ground for Harris to make history potentially.
