ALBAWABA - Former US President Donald Trump has sparked wide debate again on social media after he claimed that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau could be the son of Fidel Castro.
The 2024 Elections presidential candidate in fact didn't start a new rumor about Trudeau and Castro, however, more than one time this allegation has been made and caused controversy.
In an interview with Adin Ross, Donald Trump commented on the picture of Canada's PM saying: "They say he is the son of Fidel Castro and could be, anything is possible in this world."
He maintained: "You know, you're gonna learn as you get older." Then he added that he and Justin Trudeau get along, however, he said the PM is going a little progressive and the people of Canada are not liking it.
Is Justin Trudeau the son of Fidel Castro?
Fidel Castro was a Cuban revolutionary and politician who was the leader of Cuba from 1959 to 2008, serving as the prime minister of Cuba from 1959 to 1976 and president from 1976 to 2008.
In February 2018, such a rumor was made and caused a stir but the Canadian government denied it, Cuba has never claimed it and Trudeau’s parents never visited Cuba until several years after Justin Trudeau was born.
The story started when Castro’s oldest son, Fidelito committed suicide on Feb. 1, 2018, and many claimed that he left a note referring to Trudeau as his half-brother.
Not only in 2018 but back in 2016, a theory that Castro is the father of the Canadian prime minister left huge attention, especially after Trudeau's remarks praising the late Cuban leader.
