Australia floods hit Western Sydney and it is spreading "greatest concern" as the worst ever since ages as described by the Australian PM Scott Morrison.
Thousands of people were evacuated from their homes. Rescue teams rush to carry out emergency supplies to assist trapped residents while they wait to start the hard clean-up once the water recedes.
The floods claimed its first victim as a man’s body was found in a car trapped by floodwaters on Wednesday.
“What we still have to be aware of is the fact that thousands and thousands of people are still on evacuation warnings, that the rivers will continue to swell, that catchments will continue to experience flows of water not seen in 50 years and in some places 100 years,” according to Gladys Berejiklian, the premier of New South Wales.
