Their meeting, described as historic, was made one day before the G-20 summit kicked off in the Indian ocean's resort of Bali. ALBAWABA - The energy crisis worldwide has caused wide protests in some European countries, including Italy and Germany and the United Kingdom. Thousands of protesters took to the streets waving banners, which read: "Cut war not welfare, fair energy now and stop mining our pockets." In Belgium, nationwide demonstrations were held in Brussels against the surging energy prices, which is affected by the Russian war on Ukraine that started on Feb. 24, 2022.
ALBAWABA - More than 100 people were killed and hundreds of others injured in a stampede in Indonesia's football stadium on Saturday. Indonesian police launched an investigation into the incident after the death of at least 125 people, including 32 children. Media reports said that another 323 were injured. The stampede began after fans of the national team crashed the pitch at Kanjuruhan stadium when their team lost 3-2. Officers fired tear gas in response to a pitch invasion by fans at the overcrowded stadium in Malang regency, East Java.
