AFCON 2017: Tunisia through to quarter finals after beating Zimbabwe 4-2

Tunisia qualified for the quarter finals after beating Zimbabwe (4-2), at an AFCON 2017 Group B day-3 game, played on Monday night in Libreville.

The goals were scored by Naim Sliti (10), Youssef Msakeni (22), Taha Yacine Khenissi (36) and Wahbi Khazri (45 p) for Tunisia, Knowledge Musona (42) and Tendai Ndoro (57) for Zimbawe.

In the other match of the group Algeria and Senegal made a 2-2 draw.

The Carthage Eagles ended the first round in the second place with 6 points and ensure their qualification for the next round with Senegal, leader with 7 points. Algeria (2 pts) and Zimbabwe (1 pt) are eliminated.

In the quarter finals, Tunisia will play Saturday, January 28, Burkina Faso and Senegal will take on Cameroon.
