Arsenal have started their season in top form and the Gunners find themselves at the top of the English Premier League table nine matches into the regular season.
However, manager Arsene Wenger still has several more pieces to bring to the Emirates as despite the exemplary arrivals of both Mathieu Flamini and Mesut Ozil, there is more to be done.
One piece that is needed is a true second striker. Olivier Giroud has been exceptional this season, but the Frenchman cannot handle it all himself.
There is still yet to be any convincing that returned forward Nicklas Bendtner is the long term solution as another front man for the Gunners, and that fact has seen the club linked with yet another French international forward.
TalkSPORT has seen Arsenal once again being mentioned as a January suitor for Real Madrid star Karim Benzema.
Benzema has struggled this season having only scored four goals in 11 matches and has been criticized by the Bernabeu support.
However, although Arsenal are believed interested, Italian side Inter Milan are also thought to be flirting with a January move for the out of favor Frenchman.
Inter's takeover by Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir is expected to see a massive transfer fund hit the club ahead of the January transfer window and a move for Benzema could be a great addition.
