Arsenal v Crystal Palace: Prediected lineups

Arsene Wenger is looking forward to the start of the campaign after having seen his last two competitive matches result in the FA Cup and the FA Community Shield.

The Gunners added a few select new faces this summer and both Calum Chambers and Alexis Sanchez are expected to make their first team debut's in the Premier League.

Newly named captain Mikel Arteta is set to anchor the midfield with Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere flanking the Spaniard while newboy Sanchez is expected to slot in on the right side of the attack.

Young defender Calum Chambers is expected to pair with Laurent Koscielny in the heart of defense, while Per Mertesacker is still returning from his World Cup winning campaign with Germany. Mathieu Debuchy will debut as the first team rightback for the first time in the regular season after leaving Newcastle this summer.

Crystal Palace are looking to make the most of their opening match in the wake of Tony Pulis resigning on Thursday and will hope that new signings Martin Kelly, Frazier Campbell and Brede Hangeland all prove they were worth the effort for this summer.

Both sides have injury concerns with Theo Walcott the most frustrating player for the Gunners to be out while Adrian Mariappa's is the most likely to be missing from Palace.
