Lukas Podolski may not have scored on Wednesday in Arsenal's 2-0 win over Cardiff City, but the German international was still sure to share his message of support for Michael Schumacher after the match.

The pair are good friends, and though Podolski wasn't able to find the back of the net and reveal his undershirt that read "Get Well Soon Schumi" yesterday, but round up a group of Arsenal's stars to pose for the cameras and get his message across.

Mikel Arteta, Theo Walcott, Laurent Koscielny, Bacary Sagna, Per Mertesacker, Jack Wilshere, Wojciech Szczesny, Lukasz Fabianski, and Nicklas Bendtner all smiled for the camera and Podolski's picture.

Arsenal left it late yesterday, only securing all three points after Nicklas Bendtner and Theo Walcott scored back to back to goals just minutes from the end. Without Olivier Giroud, Mesut Ozil, and Aaron Ramsey, Arsenal struggled to get themselves on the scoresheet, but a relentless desire to attack int he second half meant Arsene Wenger's men were finally able to break down Cardiff City and retain their spot at the top of the table.

Podolski accompanied his photo (below) on Instagram with the following message: 1st place! It was a important victory for our team today. Michael, we all hope that you will win, too. All the best wishes from AFC team to you.....#getwellsoon #prayforschumi #schumi #poldi #afc #team
