Arsenal head into week 12 looking to maintain their record at the top of the Premier League table. However, surprise team of the season Southampton will be looking to claim another major win when they travel to the Emirates.
Having already managed to upset Liverpool at Anfield, Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino will hope that his side once again rise to the occasion.
Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana have been largely impressive once again so far this season while youngsters such as Nathaniel Clyne, Luke Shaw and James Ward-Prowse continue to impress week after week.
Arsenal themselves have a few youngsters in their ranks that came through the same Southampton developmental system in the likes of Theo Walcott and more recent acquisition Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Gunners have been on an impressive run and their side will be looking to maintain their place, but a loss to Southampton could see the North Londoners lose a chance to stay on top if Liverpool defeat Everton earlier in the day.
Arsene Wenger's side at the moment by in large picks itself, but there could be a few shake-ups. Theo Walcott is expected to be involved but is more likely to come off of the bench, meanwhile there is debate as to whom will start alongside of Per Mertesacker with Thomas Vermaelen once again at full fitness.
Laurent Koscielny has been the primary choice all season, but Vermaelen's more physical nature could see him preferred over the Frenchman with the strengths of Lambert, Victor Wanyama, Jose Fonte and Dejan Lovren brought into consideration.
However, Wenger could be resilient to making changes to a side that has been largely successful this season.
