The Allianz Arena side are keen to add some more depth to their attack to provide cover for the injury prone Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben and have been linked with a number of wingers in recent months.
Brahimi is one of the names to have caught the attention of Bayern and the 25-year-old says he would be open to a move to the Bavarians.
"Right now, I am a Porto player, but I always dream of playing for the biggest clubs in the world," Brahimi was quoted as saying by A Bola.
"Porto are a big club in Europe, but there is always a step up.
"Every player dreams of wearing the jersey of a club like Bayern Munich."
Brahimi joined Porto from Granada in the summer of 2014 and has since become a key figure at the Portuguese giants.
The Algeria international has a contract with Porto until June 2019.
