Juan Mata may have spent the majority of the season so far on the sidelines, but he is expected to feature in Chelsea's midweek Capital One Cup fixture against Swindon Town on Tuesday.
The Blues have been without their back-to-back player of the year for most of the season as new manager Jose Mourinho continues to exact his changes on the side. While Oscar has been the preferred no. 10 for the Portuguese manager, the fixture congestion that is starting will see him need to utilize more of his squad to keep them all fresh.
Fernando Torres is also expected to be back in the starting lineup as well as Cesar Azpilicueta, Ryan Bertrand, Michael Essien and Mark Schwarzer.
Swindon Town should be a outmatched against Chelsea, but the Robins were knocking on the door to promotion to the Championship last season. Despite their current 11th place position in League One, they will have a strong home crowd behind them and midfielder Ryan Mason and striker Nile Ranger will hope to impress for the home side.
