Let the transfer madness begin! With the January transfer window right around the corner, we can all expect some pretty big moves to take place. World Cup 2014 in Brazil is now just months away, and while leaving one club for another may not be the most advised move in a World Cup year, some players will look to make a move to get more playing time and exposure for their national teams.

One of the biggest rumor has to be around Chelsea's Juan Mata. The Spanish midfield maestro has found regular playing time under Jose Mourinho hard to come by and could be on his way to French giants Paris St-Germain if everything goes as planned. French outlet L'Equipe is also reporting that Juventus star Paul Pogba and Newcastle man Yohan Cabaye are targets for PSG manager Laurent Blanc.

The Guardian is reporting that German giants Bayern Munich will announce the signing of Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund on January 2nd with the Polish international out of contract in the summer. If it does go through, the move will make Lewandowski the second Dortmund player in as many years to leave Signal Iduna Park for bitter rivals Bayern Munich.

The Daily Mirror reports that Chelsea and Jose Mourinho are ready to offer Senegalese striker Demba Ba to Inter Milan as part of a deal that would see Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin go the other way in January. The 27 year old midfielder has made 47 league appearances for Inter Milan and could help bolster Chelsea's midfield during the run in to the end of the Premier League season.

ESPN report that David Moyes and Manchester United will bid £30m for Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke. The 21 year old has impressed this season for his side and could prove vital for Moyes' midfield if the deal can be done. Moyes failed to secure the services of Thiago and Ander Herrera this summer, and will use January as well as the summer to beef up his midfield.

ESPN is also reporting that Atletico Madrid hotshot Diego Costa will not be leaving Spain for Arsenal in January. The Gunners are known to be in the market for a striker to help support Olivier Giroud's efforts and Diego Costa has long been linked with a move to the Emirates.

Metro in England is reporting that Bafetimbi Gomis could be on his way to Tottenham from Lyon with Jermain Defoe set to join MLS side Toronto FC this winter.

Do you see any of these transfers materializing? Who would you like to see at your club?
