Arsenal v Liverpool: Projected lineups in Gunners and Reds FA Cup clash

Arsenal have had a rough week with their defeat at Liverpool and their draw with Manchester United in the English Premier League.

They host Liverpool this weekend in the FA Cup as they look to atone for their crushing away defeat and earn their place in the quarterfinals of the world's oldest association tournament.

Mathieu Flamini is likely to return at the expense of Mikel Arteta as the Gunners will not want to risk not having a midfield enforcer in their ranks to try and help break up the Liverpool counter and midfield momentum.

However, Liverpool themselves will be looking as well to stake their claim to the next round of action and after defeating Arsenal and grinding out a late victory against Fulham in mid-week they are primed for their chance to keep fighting int he cup.

The Reds will be boosted by the return of Daniel Agger to the center of defense and he vice-captain's inclusion for Kolo Toure is expected to be the only change form the Reds side that has been fielded in the last several matches for Brendan Rodgers.

Additionally, young Joao Carlos Teixeira is believed set to once again be on the substitutes bench after a fine showing late on against Fulham Wednesday night and he could make his cup debut for the Reds this season at the Emirates.

Arsenal XI: Szczesny: Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs; Wilshere, Flamini; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ozil, Gnabry; Giroud.

Liverpool XI: Mignolet: Flannagan, Skrtel, Agger, Cissokho; Henderson, Gerrard, Coutinho; Sterling, Sturridge, Suarez.
