Syrian actress Jumana Murad is currently taking extensive dance lessons in order to be ready for her upcoming role as a dancer in the new Egyptian film “Shari’ Al Haram” (Pyramid Street). The actress has revealed that she has sought the assistance of a professional Egyptian choreographer to be able to master the art of dancing. The actress has also lost a lot of weight for her role.

According to the internet website MBC.net, Jumana revealed that she was very pleased to be nominated for the role in the film, which she considers to be different than any film she starred in before and believes it will add tremendously to her career.

Jumana stated that she does not known when filming will begin, but did note that she is holding extensive work sessions with the film makers to agree on the final details.

The film will also star Egyptian folk singer Saed Al Sughair, actors Suleiman Eid, Eman Al Said and Lutfi Labeeb. With regards to the previous nominations of Egyptian actress Summaya Al Khashab and Rania Yousif for the same role, Jumana stated that she knows nothing of the nominations and that once she received the script for the film and went over it she was impressed with it and gave her approval.

Currently, Jumana is anxious to have her latest film “Kaf Al Qamar” alongside Egyptian actress Ghada Abd Al Riziq to be screened in theaters. Jumana said she had worked hard and exhausted herself while filming the scenes for the film in order to have it meet the expectations of her fans in Egypt and the Arab world.
