Egyptian actress Summaya Al Khashab revealed that she no regrets over her absence from the scenes this Ramadan season. Summaya stated that she would rather be absent from the scenes then present a project that is not up to her standards.
The actress stated that she is currently working on a new television drama titled “Souq Al Bashar” (Human Market) and will start filming scenes in the very near future. The drama is planned to be screened during the Ramadan season of 2011.
On a different note, Summaya is currently experiencing film production for the first time through the new film “Zanbaqat Al Hareem”. The film will be screened next summer season. Until this moment the actors and director of the film have not yet been nominated.
Summaya’s last film was “Al Rais Umar Harb” (Captain Umar Harb). The actress starred in it alongside Egyptian actors Ghada Abd Al Riziq and Hani Salama. The film was written by Hani Fawzi and directed by Khaled Yousif.
