ALBAWABA – Elon Musk, the American billionaire, and CEO of Tesla, said the company will start using humanoid robots in 2025. Tesla is expected to begin low-cost production of human-like robots to be operating within the company next year, robots will be assigned for operational tasks.
Many analytics are expecting that the 2025 humanoid robots will help increase Tesla production and end up in increased sales.
Tesla to produce humanoid robots in 2025
Musk said yesterday on X: "The company will start low production for humanoid robots and he is hoping to start producing for other companies in 2026." This announcement came a day before the company announced its financial results.

It is worth noting that Musk announced, earlier in April 2024, the plan of selling Optimus, humanoid robots by the end of 2025. Musk expects Optimus robots to perform tasks and duties inside factories and corporations.

Companies around the world are still not sure how humanoid robots can fill workforce shortages, perform jobs, and finish tasks in diverse sectors like logistics, warehousing, retail, and manufacturing.
Musk on the other hand is confident about his new plan and is foreseeing many humanoid robots to start performing tasks at the Tesla factory within 2025. Each humanoid robot will cost less than $20,000 as he announced.
Additionally, other automotive companies like Honda and Boston Dynamics have already started developing their own humanoid robots.
