Sudan-China trade hits one billion dollars in 2001

The Chinese General Administration of Customs reported that the vale of total exchanges between China and Sudan hit one billion dollars during the first 11 months of 2001, a 47 percent increase compared with the corresponding period of the previous year of 2000, reported People’s Daily . Chinese exports to Sudan hit $207 million during the period January-November, a 54 percent climb compared with the corresponding period in the previous year and imports from Sudan hit $883.4 million during the period January-November 2001, a 46 percent increase during the same period. — (menareport.com)
