One of the Islamic politicians in the Egyptian parliament, Ali Fateh Al Bab, caused a ruckus in the Egyptian parliament after he discovered that Lebanese artist Haifa Wahbi had filmed a scene for her upcoming film “Dukan Shahateh” next to the campus of the Al Shrouq School in Cairo.
Al Bab considers this incident as crises for Egyptian education and wants the minister of education to take action against the school.
Director Khaled Yousif said that Haifa was wearing modest clothing and that the filming took place outside the school. The school scenes included Amro Abed Al Jalil and Amro Saed, said Yousif.
The principle of the school said that Haifa did not enter the school and asserted that the school acted with its legal boundaries.
