Did Maya Diab’s recent car accident do something to her head? Maybe so, because the singer is yet to take any legal action against celeb impersonator Bassem Feghali.
In one of his recent famous comedy sketches, Bassem had created a new impersonation video of Maya, which she said was “humiliating” and “too provocative.” She explained that one of the reasons the spoof video was “sexually humiliating” was because Bassem hinted that her and Lebanese singer Wael Kfoury are having an affair. Both singers claim to be happily married to their partners.
However, Bassem defended his work, pointing out that he was inspired by Maya’s real-life actions, revealing outfits and things she said in interviews. You really can’t be mad at him, Maya!
Sources told Sayidaty.net that Maya has decided not to file a lawsuit against the artist, and to ignore him instead, despite the fact that Maya’s husband, Abbas Nasser, was infuriated by the video.
