Last month the shocking news of Razan Al Moghrabi's pregnancy broke out. Some spread rumors that she's pregnant out of wedlock, until her mother spoke out and set things straight. Razan's mama revealed that her daughter got married to the man in her scandalous video in 2010. his name is Naji.
Now, Razan and Naji couldn't keep schtum anymore; the couple have decided to open up and set the record straight.
According to Sayidaty.net, the two met in Cairo in 2005 when Razan was working on her film “Harb Italia” (The Italian War). It was then when a love affair blossomed and ended up in marriage in 2010.
The Lebanese singer said that she wanted to announce her nuptials to the public there and then, but the Egyptian revolution in 2011 made it unsuitable for her to do.
She did confirm however that two top secret wedding ceremonies took place in Beirut and London. Lucky for some!
Razan added that had it not been for some “Sick” individuals circulating that scandalous video of her and Naji on Youtube, they were planning on holding a big wedding bash in Cairo back then.
After they rained on her parade, she's decided to keep her private life all to herself.
So why speak out now Razan? The distressed star said that she had to come out and confirm her wedding rumors after the same individuals began spreading claims that she's pregnant out of wedlock.
According to her, this was necessary to protect her and her family's reputation.
As for the infamous Naji, he stated that he fully supports his wife in every step she makes, especially when it concerns her career, for he is her personal adviser. Nice!
Apparently, what most attracted Naji to Razan was her strong personality and quiet nature – really?
“I love her kind and caring heart,” Naji said.
The happy hubby said that he would never stand in the way of Razan's career, as she's a super gifted artist. But what's really their concern at the moment is their little bundle of joy.
The expecting parents said that they're currently busy reading baby books in order to be fully prepared when the baby comes.
Is it a boy or a girl? Well, they still don't know, so naturally, no baby name has yet been chosen.
The five-months preggers star will be able to find out the sex of the baby in the next few days.
