What a joke! Louis C.K.'s new promo idea stolen by Egyptian comedian Mohamed Sobhi

So Mohamed Sobhi made a commercial for his show on CBC and pretty much stole the style and content from American comedian Louis C.K.’s ad for his HBO special.

The video above, which has been going around Egyptian social media, reveals nearly identical shots in both promos, prompting ridicule from viewers.

This isn’t the first time an incident like this has occurred here. Last year, popular comedian Bassem Youssef was accused of plagiarizing an article he translated and published under his name, while his show was frequently called out for copying segments from other popular skits and shows in the West.
