blue coat to demonstrate appliances for combined wan optimization and web security at multi-city road show
Blue Coat Systems, a leader in WAN Application Delivery and Secure Web Gateway, today announced that it will launch a regional road show that will focus on how to combine Web security and policy control with content and application acceleration. At the road show, Blue Coat will demonstrate its Wide Area Network (WAN) optimization solution, which accelerates applications to branch and remote offices while also providing security and control.
Businesses all over the world are facing serious difficulty in keeping pace with the world’s rapidly moving, globally competitive, connected environment. It is no longer enough to provide basic functions such as connectivity, file sharing, basic e-mail, and simple Web presence. It is critical that networks and applications are also able to link not only employees to each other, but also customers and partners. The increasing number of mobile users, work sites, and security threats, however, are putting increased pressure on the networks to be reliable and secure as well as accessible. Blue Coat’s appliances are directed at providing a solution to these challenges.

The locations for the road show are Kuwait, Qatar, Turkey, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
