ALBAWABA- Yahya Saree, the military spokesperson for the Houthi movement, announced that Yemeni forces targeted the US aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman and several accompanying warships in the northern Red Sea.

According to Saree, the operation involved cruise missiles and drones, marking the sixth attack on the carrier since its arrival in the region.

The USS Harry Truman was allegedly preparing to launch airstrikes in Yemen when it came under attack, Saree claimed. The United States has yet to issue a response to the incident.

This operation follows a pattern of Houthi assaults on US naval assets in the region, including past attacks on the USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, which prompted the repositioning of these vessels farther from Yemeni waters.
