ALBAWABA- India witnessed a surge in COVID-19 cases with 702 new infections and six deaths reported within 24 hours, according to the latest data from the health ministry.

The fatalities include two from Maharashtra and one each from Karnataka, Kerala, West Bengal, and Delhi.
