Iranian missile targeting NATO base in Turkey intercepted, tensions soar

ALBAWABA- Iran fired a ballistic missile toward the NATO-operated Incirlik Air Base in southern Turkey on Wednesday, in a sharp escalation of the widening U.S.–Israel–Iran conflict. The missile, identified as a medium-range Fateh-110 variant, was intercepted mid-air by NATO’s integrated air defense systems, including Patriot batteries deployed in the region.
