ALBAWABA - Sudanese Civil Aviation Authority has decided to maintain the closure of Sudan's airspace, Khartoum International Airport released a statement on Monday.
The airspace closure was extended till July 30, however, the authorities have excluded humanitarian aid and evacuation flights after obtaining a permit from the competent authorities.
The closure of the airspace was imposed in Sudan shortly after the start of the civil war in Khartoum on April 15 between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

The SAF is led by General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, while RSF is led by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, known as Hemedti.
Sudan Doctors Syndicate shared earlier that more than 3,000 were killed, and more than 6,000 have been injured since the clashes broke in mid-April.
