A suicide bomb detonated at a checkpoint just outside the Libyan city of Misrata, Reuters reports.
The attack occurred west of Misrata on the highway to the capital city of Tripoli.
At this time an exact death toll has yet to be confirmed, but a local official stated that several people were killed in the attack.
